The application process is divided into two phases this year. The first phase of the process requires a one-page letter of intent containing a summary of the creative process of the project you (or a colleague) would like to submit, along with the application form. This one-page letter should also explain your vision and the purpose of the project. Four signed and dated copies must be returned and postmarked by midnight August 30, 2008. The Creativity in Motion panel will review the letters of intent and notify responders by October 2008 if they have been chosen to submit a full application for consideration for the prize. A total of 50 of the respondents will be chosen to submit complete applications for this second phase of the process. Fully developed proposals must be sent in by January 15, 2009. A panel of expert jurors will review the 50 full applications, taking special note of their focus being on their creative process (completed projects will not be considered). The winner will be notified in early April 2009, and the prize will be awarded in September 2009 at the University of Oklahoma.
